If he cared so much about the little guy, what about the little guy who really loves King, but can't afford a pbook and an ebook? Or who has given up pbooks for environmental reasons.

I'm with DesertGrandma. I used to be sooo excited about a new King book. This whole thing has kind of ruined the experience. We have more and more authors doing this (the Kennedy Biography, Palin). Hopefully, the price war over pbooks will end this tactic. Otherwise, we always have the stick!
