I must have been sleeping and completely missed this. Do I understand you to say that Brian edited/changed the original Dune?!?

Obviously I haven't read it in years. My take -- I loved Dune. As conclusions to that story I liked book two and three, but I could see it if you said those weren't your cup of tea. Frankly, I could even understand if the original wasn't for everyone, but I loved it.
