To see the firmware revision information:
1) Exit the book you currently have open (press the <- "cancel/exit" button).
2) At the directory/bookshelf view (which is where you should now be), press Menu/OK.
3) Press 6 "Settings".
4) Press 4 "About".

The latest firmware version from Astak (ie, the 'official' firmware release) is dated "09/10/2009" (Sept 10 of this year), and can be downloaded from:
http://theezreader.com/html/support_firmware.asp

The latest firmware version from Jinke (the manufacturer of the Astak Pocket Pro) is dated Oct 19, 2009, and can be downloaded from:
http://www.jinke.com.cn/Compagesql/E.../update_v5.asp

However, the internet connection to that server may be VERY slow. So I've uploaded a copy of it to my U.S. server at:
http://www.kaser.com/ebooks.html
