I used to look at MyBBC, but was disappointed that there was a quite small limit to the number of reports per category, which is not the case with the PC version. My solution is to create several different BBC Clips by using the low-graphics version of the BBC news website. There are dozens of different clip combinations you could set up, and you can even specify (via cookies) whether you want to view world news from a British or non-British perspective! You could get very detailed reports on numerous parts of the world or on sport, TV schedules etc.
Currently I run four clips:
BBC UK News:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/uk/default.stm
BBC World News:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/world/default.stm
BBC Science News:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/sci/tech/default.stm
BBC Technology News:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/technology/default.stm
In all cases I use a depth of 2 (according to the Plucker definition of depth), don't convert images and check the box which puts a separate icon on my launcher.
