Haven't had any problems connecting the reader to the PC at home (XP SP3) or laptop (windows 7). For some reason or another, it refuses to connect with the PC at work (XP SP3). My suspicion is that it is a firewall problem at the work PC.
I use the supplied 1G SD card for all transfers anyway. The card is quick enough to pop out, and there are no problems with the SD reader.
