Ah! A fellow Pratchett fan. Have you read his Tiffany Aching books? Every once in a while I am in the mood for a really wonderful "younger reader" book, I think because the best ones are absolute lessons in How To Tell a Story, and the Tiffany Aching books, along with Terry Pratchett's other "kids" books, are inspiring examples of how it should be done. I too re-read the Tiffany Aching books as well - after each one I'm prone to speak in "Nac Mac Feegle" phrases - nothing makes quite the same impact as holding your head in your hands and shouting "crivens" or "waley, waley, waley." (Not sure of the latter spelling).
