WIN 7
AS my PC was switched on this morning, (which has only been "seven" for fewer than 36 hours) it didn't boot; came up with an NTDLR missing error !!!!!!
After an hour or so of going through repair options I am now back working again, but I could have done without that minor heart flutter.
It would seem that, perhaps, 25 updates yesterday evening had not quite completed before the PC shut itself off. Somehow the boot was trying to load from my second hard drive (I think). I had to disconnect that and return to the repair. Twice during that process, messages were displayed that updates were being installed. (Too much like coincidence to not blame updates - me thinks).
Coffee has been strong this morning, on one occasion fortified with Tia Maria ......
