How? And don't relate any pid reverse engineering hacks, as that is not "public" knowledge offered by Amazon about your device.

I mean really, I could get mobi format library books and remove the DRM but that's out of band, and technically illegal in my country.

So how are you getting library books on the Kindle without subverting Amazon's "protections" regarding mobi pid and drm?
