I just finished Diary of a Nobody by George and Weedon Grossmith. Written in 1892, it's about suburban English life. It's a good thing it's a short book, otherwise I never would have finished. The life of the family written about in that book just wasn't that fascinating. If it were a modern day blog, I'm not sure many would follow it.
The next book on my pile (paper book, as I am trying to weed out that excessively large pile), is the First Rumpole Omnibus by John Mortimer. Should be a good read.
Paris Hilton? Not! I don't read much of the recently published books by choice.
