It worked!!!

I was just about to give up on the library version released 10/22 and go back to version 2.5 again and I tried just one more thing. Temporarily turn off your virus/system protection software before trying to install the new version. I run Kaspersky which can be rather aggressive. Kaspersky didn't give any warnings when I tried to install the new version 3 but I kept seeing a message from the Sony installer that said the installation had been interrupted and could not continue. I did not uninstall 2.5; I just chose check for updates in the library software menu.
