I appreciate that, but the problem here is that I'm a publisher as well as a reader so what I think looks passable to me personally may not to someone else. That's the crux of the problem I'm facing. So what I need to know is what is passable to the most people when it comes to my content. It's tricky, since I doubt it'll please everyone. But then, I'm not planning on charging anyone for it, either.
On prices: I hear you. I vividly remember when comics went from 75 cents to $1.00 - and then jumping, at least here in Canada, very quickly to $1.25. And on and on. I find it amazing that Marvel is now producing 32 page comics at a $3.99 cover price. They wonder why they've bled readers?
