Some years ago, I was responsible for recruitment in an IT department. When reviewings CV's, we had one come in from a woman who had left a job in IT about 6 months previously to fulfill a life-long ambition to open a shop selling knitting supplies. Unfortunately, according to her CV, it was at this point that an allergy to wool manifested itself!

I know in my heart that this really isn't funny - person's dream smashed and all that - but, well.....
