I'm just glad you didn't quote Marc's original post again. There's a reason I didn't follow my mother into the nursing profession and it can be summed up in one word, "BLOOD"!!
Although I have a deep and abiding aversion to blood, I've learned over the years to grin and bear it while cleaning and bandaging childhood injuries. The worst was having to take care of a wound Zack received from the neckbrace he had to wear after his auto accident. It still makes me shudder just to think about it.
Marc, my sympathies to you and as I would tell my children, "Stop doing that kind of stuff and be more careful!!!"
