I started a new job today. It's going to take a little time to catch up on my bills, but I expect to be able to get something during the Christmas sales.

Right now it really looks like I'm going to go with the jetBook Lite. I don't know when that will go on sale in the US, but I know that newegg will carry it. I don't want to make a final decision until the Astak Mentor Lite 2 is out in a couple of weeks. My hang-up with that will be whether it requires a proprietary battery.
