$450 is probably about right for the device. Yes the Kindle DX is $489, but it doesn't have the Wacom pen touchscreen, it supports epub and allows for third party development. The other nice thing I like about the DR800SG is that it is almost the exact same dimensions as a Kindle 2.

But I don't like the fact that they announced the MSRP to be $399 and Best Buy or Irex decided to bump the price up another $50. I could understand it if they had announced it in February and were just now releasing. The price might have gone up that much due to unexpected costs, but to go up that much in barely a months time?

I'll still wait for someone else to review it and hopefully post here. It seems to be everything I want in a reader, at least once they get the note taking part finished.
