Oh, good. I tried to answer this earlier and got caught in the "maintenance".

Sharyn's stuff isn't really in the same vein (grin) as Charlaine's. She does have the Ballad series that has a touch of the paranormal, but not even close to Charlaine's Sookie Stackhouse series. In the Ballad books, Nora Bonesteel is an Appalachian wise-woman with the Sight. They're a lot closer to Charlaine's Harper Connelly series.

Sharyn also writes the (current) Nascar series, St. Dale, Once Around the Track, and the upcoming Faster Pastor. Her past series include two books about characters that are interested in sci-fi; (Zombies of the Gene Pool and Bimbos of the Death Sun), and the absolutely hilarious Elizabeth MacPherson series. Highland Laddie Gone is one of my all time favorite books, EVER. I highly recommend all of them.
