Thanks for all your kind thoughts.....The day was quietly wonderful.
Finished with a chocolate/coconut cake and a bottle of home-made wine (vintage 1991 ! - the label was very faint, so we don't know whether it was gorse, meadowsweet or ginger; but it was gorgeously smooth, though sweeter than we like our wine now - and the very last bottle)...
