I've gotta say. I have watched the video pointed to above. That looks pretty compelling on a touch screen Netbook with Windows 7 and the Kindle app... with this you will...

  • will have access to your Kindle library
  • will have PC/PDA features (email, calendar, web browser)
  • will always be able to buy/d-l ebooks (3G Netbook service)
  • sync with whispernet your last page (3G)
  • choose your connectivity
  • be able to view PDFs... yes, will with FoxIt reader, it is a PC. Maybe Steve Balmer was onto something.
I can imagine this being a popular choice once Netbooks/Tablets with those dual mode view in the sun screens are on them.
