I recommended the Kindle too to a number of people, despite not owning one and not wanting to own one yet (will reconsider when they release the K3

). They were English speaking heavy reader, non-techie persons.

Alas I would not recommend the Kindle, nor any reader yet to people reading exclusively in Spanish or in French, unless they only read public works books.

I would not recommend a Kindle to any tech savy individuals either. But generaly these kind of people do not ask as much for recommendations, they will rather go looking by themselves on Internet.
