Thanks for the detailed post. I spent a few hours yesterday playing with princexml and the thread you pointed to. So far I am very impressed. Not only do the generated PDFs look better than anything else on the reader, it also satisfies the tinkerer in me. Now I am getting more and more interested in typesetting and fonts in general - this is getting addictive!
