You know with this, I would be officially excited for the nook. I have a G1 phone. I was a early adopter and believer of the Android system. Not really revolutionary as they say but it being open allowed the developers to do stuff out in the open and to me it seems like they can get a lot done. Mainly, I'm referring to the cooking of new phone roms.
While nothing is wrong with Vanilla Android as given to you by the phone company, some of the Roms clearly outmatch them by being faster, smoother, and enhanced usability. Not having used the Nook, it maybe just fine but no device is perfect. The masses will find "niggly" things to be annoyed with being a percentage bar or fixed margins or something else that can be fixed in firmware. Then when someone has the know how to do what you can't and B&N is in no rush to do or just won't, you'll rejoice.
