There are three things that bother me about the DR1000:
1: High price - I try to block out of my mind just how much I paid for it
2: Poor battery life - it is annoying to have to keep recharging it, when other devices can last for weeks between recharges
3: Slow start up - sometimes, having to wait 45 seconds to start up means I just don't bother using it when I have, say, 15 minutes to spare for reading
But, there is one thing that still make me love the device:
1: Big screen - so I can read all those A4 sized small-print PDF files I have
Until there is another device that has a big screen and great PDF support, I am staying with the DR1000
