I agree, it would be nice if there was some clarity on which type of DRM is being used.

Let's hope Sony and others upgrade to the newest Adobe SDK ASAP.

That said, the question here was asked about the Nook, which will support both types of DRM so it should work with libraries that support ADE/ePub/PDF just fine.
