While I technically do know some French and German, I'm not quite prepared to tackle a whole novel
And I certainly don't know any Russian...
I would expect to read a translation - but their quality do vary, so recommendations in case one of the non-English books wins would be welcome. Apart from that, I would personally also consider reading a translation into my own language.
