I'm like most here, and I voted 'on the fence'. It really depends on the person's needs. Perhaps because I re-read so much myself, and own several devices, I tend to place importance in ability convert, and in general I don't like something so closed as the Kindle.
On the other hand, it would work great for the non-techie types who just want to read a book once.
Finally, I doubt that I would recommend an international Kindle at the moment. Too much content are not available and it's impractical and expensive to send it so far for repairs - and I think ebooks in danish will become available far before Amazon would sell any (if ever).
