Hi everyone. I already got to know many of you from your posts in this great forum because I have been lurking here for more than a year.
It's a shame, I know

I apologise. I am also sure some of you know me from other fora.
I had joined the ebook addicts family almost two years ago when I bought the PRS-500, which soon after ended its short life under a heavy feet of one of my family members
For almost a year I have been inseparable from my PRS-505 and recently I am being teased by the smooth PRS-600 (while my better half is straining her eyes with her EBM911 and peeking at my 505...). There of course a few other less addictive although often more expensive gadgets in my cave, too.
For the last two years I was also busy reading and converting ebooks with many kinds of available tools, gaining experience which I may now share with you. What you already know, Calibre is the software of choice for that. BTW, Kovid, if you are reading this, please make sure the new Windows installer creates within Program Files a folder named Calibre (as it used to) instead of the recent "calibre - E-book management". The latter folder name blocks the possibility of assigning ebook file types to lrfviewer.exe and ebook-viewer.exe. In fact I was not able to open my ebooks with those programs even manually until I renamed the subject folder back to simple "calibre". It is a tip for those of you who have been experiencing the same problem with the last two updates of the great piece of software.
Well, this is already too much for an introduction. See you around.
