It could because it's heavyer than the reader but actually it's much safer. Have a look at post #27, picture 5 (named 3.jpg) With the box opened to a little over 90 degrees it will lay flat. Put it on it's top, flip the reader 180 degrees and the magnets hold it up. Just put the box on your chest and you don't even have to hold it. Then you only need a remote to save you from those painfull page turns.
As long as you stay on your back, it will remain so. But one false move and everything falls off your body, like anything would. At least you don't get it in your face.
Personally I like LaughingVulcan's solution. Make the support movable, orientable and include a lighting system, like my boxe's and it would make a lazy boy's dream.
Oh! and don't forget that &$#(&% remote!
