There was just an episode of NCIS recently where that happened. The two guys met on the train. Tony DeNozo figured it out, of course because he remembered the classic movie Strangers on a Train.

It is amazing the coincidences in life. Recently I read _Flashforward_ and then a day after I finish I read on Engadget that CERN is just about to re-start the LHC again.
