I've seen some of those devices burn out pretty quick - because only the casing looked identical, and they used cheaper parts inside. Personally, I'd rather take one of the no-name adapters sold in the stores... like one of those charging stands or charging cables for the PS3 controllers, which can be had for $10 or less.
