Hmmm... I've only read James Hadley Chase in the context of pulp crime novels (check out Black Mask/Munsey's for some examples), and from the listed titles I'd assume more of the same...

I enjoyed the novels I read... but I love stuff from the period. Nice and short so you can finish in a day. Fast-paced. Slightly risque but not lurid by today's standards. Since murder is involved, its always about money, power or sex. Fun stuff!
