I believe that comment was given after my replacement had been shipped. I am of the thought that my replacement was from the first shipment, and that it had time to cure more than the rest. However, the plastic underneath the rubber shell most likely wasn't sanded, and it still shiny smooth, which makes the rubber shell not fully adhere to the plastic.
It also may be that they shiny coating is actually a sticky glue layer to bond the rubber coating. I don't really know.
I checked my PEZ this morning, and the wrinkles havent spread. Then again the unit was in sleep mode all night. I'll wait until after the weekend to see if the wrinkles spread, then decide. Also, most freight companies do not ship on the weekend, so even if it left today, there's be 2 days that it would most likely be just sitting.
