I've read or attempted to read most of the selections mentioned on the first page and I heartily second all of them. Some of them are a bit more challenging than light reading, I am still working my way through the D'Artagnan series. I somehow missed the Raffles Omnibus so I'll be joining you with those, thanks dreams.
I'll suggest you pick some at random, read the blurb and try one or two that sound like they might be interesting. I do this regularly, sometimes with a pleasant surprise, sometimes with dismal results but always interesting.
