Harry, thanks for your 2cents. You were reading my mind. Last night someone posted a brand new in box Sangria red 505 on ebay for $259. Needless to say, I hopped all over that deal! I was wondering about the extended warranty and looked on Sony's site but didn't see where to purchase it. I'm hoping when I register the product I'll be able to buy insurance.

Oh gosh! I can't leave it to him to find me a Sangria (or even blue) reader! I had to find that myself! I did use our joint account to finance it. I suppose he can just replenish the account.
On another note. I can't be too mad at him. When I knew the 600 was coming out over the summer, that's all I would talk about. One night he kindly mentioned that I was expressing addictive behavior with my readers and he was a little concerned. I replied that that may be, but if I'm going to be addicted to something, Readers weren't such a bad thing, was it? Then he said he was worried that after I got the new 600, in a few months I'd want anther reader and another reader. I assured him that I'm only addicted to Sony Readers and I'm not interested in the one coming out in Dec. So I should be good for at least a year. LOL....
Much to my surprise he then replied, "Well, I've been thinking about buying you something anyway, so when it's available just put it on my charge card."

After all that!
I did tell him of all my readers I think I'd mind him using the 600 the least just because it's the easiest to replace. He'd like to use my 700 because of the built in light but they're just too hard to come by and that's pretty much my most used reader since I read mostly at night.

Yeah, I'm pretty much a Sony girl. I just haven't seen any other readers that I like. The only thing that almost lured me is wanting to use Amazon's bookstore, but the Kindle is just so unappealing on so many levels that I just couldn't do it.
