Besides, Microsoft isn't the best when it comes to marketing. If they do release an ebook reading device, it'll probably flop so they're better off leaving the gadget making to hardware companies and just encourage companies to release software readers for their operating systems.

I'd love to have a "slate" pc about the size and thickness of my Kindle DX, where the keyboard/mouse is replaced by a touch screen (with optional support for a wireless keyboard and mouse), and with a fast 3G connection to the internet.
I love eInk, with the low eye strain, but I also love all the features that a PC provides (it has folders for one thing).
