Just started Book 2 in the Southern Vampire series. I enjoyed Book 1 a lot and have watched some of the tv show. I did not become a die-hard fan necessarily (of the show) but it was fun to watch a couple episodes, and I will definitely be picturing Anna Paquin in my head as I read
Seeing her on-screen made the book character seem a little younger and more sympathetic. The Bill in my head is better than the Bill on TV though
