Sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your e-reader. Hopefully the new firmware will fix some of your issues. The eslick looks the same as the Bookeen Cybook Gen3. I wonder if you are able to install the Cybook firmware to also help resolve your issues? Have to ask someone in the Cybook forum.
