Yep, I loved that one as well as Prince of Tides!

I've put "South of Broad" on hold for the moment and have gone back to reading "Hard Times" - Dickens , also threw in a couple of short stories in between - I love short stories.

T. C. Boyles - "Admiral" - the first story in the 2008 - Best American Short Stories (pbook)

I have been wanting to read "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy and after searching around and not finding it in epub ordered it used for about $4.50 from Amazon....
