I'm a huge fan of Southern Fiction (and Southern Gothic Fiction), possibly due to my upbringing as a Southerner. With that in mind, I'm reading "Lords of Discipline," by Pat Conroy. I'm only 1/3 through it, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this important novel.

Also, I just purchased "Shantaram," which I'm very excited about starting, in probably 5-6 days from now.
