Okay guys, I'm sure the customiser is a wonderful device, but I'm not very techie and PANIC when anything seems slightly amiss. My hard-driven techie friend spends hours on the phone trying to sort out my messes. For example, a couple of days ago I bought new network homeplugs and he had to come round to do the encryption for me! So I'm taking an awful risk just for the clock especially when the customiser has already given unexplained error messages: I have unzipped the folder properly. In some ways there's a guilty pleasure in not knowing the time and reading through the night.
Thanks for all the advice anyways.
