Hope you soon feel comfortable with the 505, Dreado. I would, though, recommend a mains charger. The only problems I ever enountered were early on when I was using a USB cable and charging from the PC or laptop. It seems from advice here that one wee hitch using a USB is that, although the 505 battery icon might suggest a full charge, the unit's actually critically low on power. No probs since I started to charge from the mains -- and battery life is impressive. By the way, I got the mains charger with a range of very simple adapters for use anywhere in the world (handy for your holidays, and for me here in France). It was about twelve pounds and comes from
