Bookmarking too much in a document leads to buggy behavior

Hi all,

Well, I've owned my DR1000S for over two months now. Generally speaking, I'm very pleased with it. Every once in a while (esp. between Day #30-60, maybe once a week during that period), I encounter a random bug and have to reset, but it's not enough to distract me.

Some of my documents are very large (.doc converted to .pdf), around 900+ pages each. Basically, each of these documents is a long collection of journal abstracts that represents a 'library' that I like to mark up.

A couple times now, I've added 100+ bookmarks to these large files, and screens start freezing regularly. At bookmark #140, I'd turn on my device and without exception, it'd freeze just a couple minutes after opening the file. In contrast, few bookmarks = no problem.
