This is a pretty interesting question, and once I thought about it, pretty relevant.

I remember a while ago, when I'd been completely E for a few months, I opened up one of my storage boxes and saw a couple of my favorite books and decided to take them out for a reread.

Starting the read itself felt a bit awkward, as I had gotten out of the habit of holding and changing paperback pages with one hand, and found that the effort of holding the book open was in itself a bit distracting

Once over that hurdle, when it came time to put the book down, I must have spend a few seconds on trying to remember how to bookmark it, before finding a scrap piece of paper to do so (Don't like dogeared books)

Having those books out made me realize how much space paper books take up, especially if I want to carry them around. In my reader I usually have a couple of hundred, with about a dozen ongoing at any given time, depending upon my mood. Its finally gotten me to the point of triageing my books for which one I really want to keep and which ones i can just sell or giveaway.

It also made me realize that I'm probably going to have to buy a few new books in both formats, Paper to complete the collection and eBook to actually read
