RobertB cleared this up. It's not the leather. The surface was not prepped properly for the paint job, and then the "overspray" was not allow to fully cure before it was shipped. They, the factory, was trying to rush it because of all the anxious customers (us) that Astak had.

But, everyone learned from this problem, and the surface is properly prepped and the paint is allowed to cure before shipment now.

I'm sure this new group will be Perfect for all you lucky ones to get it.

Me, I kept my blemished one. I'm going to customize when I get all the paint that was prepped properly off. I'm 3/4 off and 1/4 stuck on good right now.
