Just finished _Verdant Skies_. A very good story... if a bit light on the antagonist side. I actually preferred _The Lens_.

I'll have more to say about _Verdant Skies_ once we open the (annex) book club thread later this month.

Guess I will read _Flash Forward_ next for the book club.

But, I am really itching to read Gibraltar Stars!!! I'm a little surprised to see the eBook on the Authors site is $7.50 though. I wonder if he does that so as not to undercut retailers that sell it too.

I guess _The Pillars of the Earth_ will have to be pushed back again.
