Okay, you can laugh at me for making this mistake, but what Linksys did was deceptive. Yes, I realize now that it should have said modem. But my current one doesn't say it's a modem, and it's a combo box with DSL, Wifi and ethernet. I thought that's what I just bought.

Definitely a good point. I'm sure many people have been confused (deceived) by it.
A router is a router, not necessarily anything to do with Cable or DSL it's the modem that connects to the Cable or DSL.....it's the router that connects multiple computers....
