Mostly not a huge surprise, and Sony don't need to worry about me being upset. However I am assuming the US specific DRM line is nonsense?

I am hoping to pick one in NY at the end of month. If it won't work with ADE and the Sony Store (I am a gift voucher using US impersonator) then that would be a bad idea!

Anyone had any real world experiences of a US Red version working outside the US with DRM protected material?

Thanks!

Mine is red, thus surely not European (and it has a Canadian notice the other side). It's working perfectly okay, and I registered in Italy. IMHO they don't know what they're talking about when they talk about DRMs.

Also, there's no UK store; I don't know about EBL 3 but EBL 2 connected you to Waterstones' regular site. Basically, install/change prefs to US in EBL and you get everything you can out of your Reader
