Hi everyone! Greetings from a sunny (and humid) island near the equator
I've been reading ebooks for about 2 years on my 2.8" smartphone and for the past 6 months, on my 10" netbook, but I found that the strain on my eyes is getting worse so I've finally decided to invest in a proper ebook reader. The netbook has sort of gone to waste as I bought it primarily to be an ebook and manga reader, but my eyes are more important. Need to protect my eyes for many more years to come!
After reading numerous reviews and opinions of Sony readers in this forum over the past 2 days, I settled on the Sony PRS300 and just ordered it from Amazon a few minutes ago. I'm really excited, but it'll take at least 3 more weeks before I receive it. Ah, the anticipation...
Thanks to all the friendly members in this forum for posting your opinions and pictures of the various Sony readers; they were of immeasurable help, especially the real life pictures of the pink 300 (which is what I ordered). I was afraid it would be too 'bubblegum pink' initially, but my worries were gone after seeing the pictures. Too bad Sony didn't make it in red like the 505 and 600; that would have been my ideal colour.
