In a previous job, we all got used to keeping our outdoor clothes close at hand as the fire alarms would go off on a very regular basis. These weren't practise drills, but a result of being in the offices above a company whose job it was to set fire to furniture. The place I worked for was a training company, and it used to be really hard to convince the delegates on courses to leave the building when it was snowing or raining as they always thought it was just a practice drill
