My understanding is that 33000 is in fact in kHz, isn't it? 33000 Khz = 33 Mhz
So you are running at 33Mhz.
33 Khz would be strange, it is even lower than a C64 or a ZX81.
So it is not Hz but kHz IMHO. Just to clarify
