I will be receiving my Sonny Reader tomorrow.

I have been looking into Calibre. There are 2 questions that I would like to ask you:

1) Calibre converts the book for me - a pdf file. However, when I click on the VIEW button in Calibre, everything is doubled-spaced. Will I see this double spacing when I SEND it to the reader and check the reader for this .pdf file? If I get the double spacing in the SONY reader, what do I have to do in Calibre NOT to get this double spacing - to rectify the problem?

I guess what I am trying to say is: what I see in Calibre's viewer is what I will see in the SONY Reader? And how do I fix it?

2) When I have the .pdf file in Calibre, can I send it directly to the DEVICE or do I have to E-convert it first?

I want to be ready for any scenario.
